I thought I would post this video that I got off of Amy Bottomly's blog. She is helping fundraise for Children's Hope Chest in Ethiopia. I thought some of you might like to see more footage of Ethiopia and the beautiful people and kids.... enjoy!!!

wow, that video is very overwhelming...it's hard to really grasp those kinds of numbers...
That was depressing. Despite their hardships- I have never seen such beautiful kids (which just proves fancy clothes don't make you any more beautiful then a set of hand me downs) It is amazing to think that there are as many homeless children in Ethiopia than there are people living in British Columbia- that is just wrong! (beautiful music in the video as well)
OMG, is that ever powerful. Thanks for sharing. I just feel a little guilty looking at all those older-child faces and wondering if we made the right choice requesting a babe.

Laura, i felt the exact same way when I watched it. I hope that one day we can do another adoption and adopt an older child.
Erin, I know... it is so hard to imagine the population of BC in homeless people or orphans... can you imagine if everyone you saw on a daily basis lost a parent from AIDS or another tragic illness?
That's something I think about also... the older kids that is.
