Homestudy Visit #1

Hello everyone...

So Mike and I just finished our homestudy visit tonight. I wasn't nervous until an hour before she arrived and then I started freaking out. I'm thankful that we cleaned the entire house though, because tonight ended up including the "house tour."
Anyways, we met her and she is really laid back and nice. We have scheduled all of our other meetings as well and it looks like things will be moving quickly!

Now we just have to complete twenty pages of homework and keep up with the reading!

Oh and for those inquiring about our agencies, you can find out more about them by clicking on the links to the right.

that's fantastic! I can't believe that things are moving along so quickly; soon I will be planning a baby shower! Okay, maybe I don't need to post a comment on every single blog post of yours....I don't really have anything that interesting to say :)

Emily,

I LOVE being able to read your blog and find updates!! Glad to hear that everything went well with the first home visit - nice work on cleaning the house beforehand! So now that things are moving along so 'quickly' will you be able to get the baby sooner?!

Hey Emily and Mike

This is quick. What is the expected time frame? ANd I did check up on your agency, sounds great I like that they make it mandatory to take a tour of the country/culture- very important you know!! And that you can be single and adopt- single moms/dads are awesome too!! Anyways, I was just thinking the other day of your vision in africa and how you have always wanted to go, this is the perfect way to do it!

Take care,

Erin

Emily,

That is unreal! I can't believe how amazing that process must be, to know that your little son will be arriving soon. Congratulations. May God have mercy upon you and your son as you await his arrival.
